New York Rooftop Dinners
August 10th began my one month of living in New York City’s Lower East Side. I work with a client just outside of the city, and decided to take an extended trip to the area. While I think NYC gets a little too cold for me to want to stay year round, I do love visiting. A few days isn’t nearly enough, so hopefully I’ll leave feeling satisfied with my checklist at the end of the month.
In NYC, people are always coming and going. This weekend, there happened to be some other Nashville folk in town. We grabbed some pizza from Sal’s and a few bottles of Trader Joe’s best wine for a rooftop sunset dinner. By the time we stopped talking and started eating the pizza was a little cold, but still pretty good. The view was definitely the highlight.
It was nice to start such a long trip away from home in the company of friends. I can’t wait to see who else I’ll run into during this visit.
